The act of finding balance on the paddle board is a subtle muscular toning exercise. The gentle but constant movement of the water forces the body’s muscles to constantly shift in order to maintain balance. And the end result is the strengthening of those muscles. The integral practice of yoga asana on the board is a unique way to do this work with the whole body.
As we balance our bodies with the water, the mind and spirit find balance as well. Water is as important to the spirit in the summer months as to the body, in order to maintain equilibrium and well-being.

Classes will be offered in two sessions of four classes, Monday evenings from 18:45-20:00.
Dates: July 2, 9, 16, 23
We will practice progressively through the course, starting with basic balance on the board and moving through basic yoga postures.
No experience is necessary, this class is meant for beginners on the board as well as new to yoga – but please know how to swim:)
Class size is limited to 6 people per session, so please register early!
